LHSG’s 21st Anniversary Seva Number 5
Seva No. 5: October 5, 2026. LHSG Founder Member Monica Gokaldas sought Van Devis blessings as she plants small trees and shrubs in her balcony garden, following LHSG’s method of planting, and blesses them with the Hindu Mantra: Vraksha Rakshati, Rakshitaha.

Vedic Planting
Planting a plant is a sacred ritual and must be given immense significance. it is a “must do” ritual that should be adapted and adopted by all families to partially complete the life circuit.
Reiki Greetings to all!
A warm Monday morning became a blessed morning as I got to plant three plants at home. Of these two were Sage plants and one was a Neem plant.
I followed the LHSG method of planting involving Forgiveness, Shanti Mantra and the Tree raksha mantra. I seeked blessings from Vandevi Ji for this planting and felt very satisfied at having done this activity.
Sharing below is a video clip showing all three plantings. My gratitude to Vandevi Ji and to the Universe for the thought of planting.
Love and Light
Monica Gokaldas
Some acts of planting are also acts of prayer we nurture the earth, and quietly, the earth nurtures something sacred within us.
