Celebrated in each corner and nook.
A worldwide Chanting of shlokas
On the day 18/12/18 this Tuesday.
The lessons repeated in many minds
Learning done in various kinds.
Do your duty, fear thy not
Stand bold and sturdy, shy thy not.
Remember the words of wisdom
Live thy life the Geeta way.
For not mere a book to read
It is a way of life for us to lead.
Be entitled to fruits of action
And perform your prescribed duties.
Inquire with reverence from Holy saints
Get enlightened to see the truth.
Tame the mind from turbulence
Control desires of strong indulgence.
Hold the reins of restless thoughts
practice detachment, gain Godly thoughts.
Learn the scriptures of Shree Krishna
Awaken thy intellect , thy sushumna.
Offer to the Lord with a true heart
And he shall accept thy pettiest tart.
Absolve thy sins, fear thou not
surrender to Almighty, don’t be caught.
The Geeta is not simply a book to read
It is life’s philosophy that you tread.
It is an art of beauty Divine in the words
Heavier than a rock, lighter than feathers of birds
A true inspiration, a firm guide
It is a teacher that dissolves your pride.

Indeed. Every Hindu must read it. Every other person too must read it to learn how the teachings in the Geeta are beyond religion.

जीवन के सर्वांगीण विकास के लिए गीताग्रंथ अद्भुत है।
विश्व की 578 भाषाओं में गीता का अनुवाद हो चुका है।
हर भाषा में कई चिन्तकों, विद्वानों और भक्तों ने मीमांसाएँ की हैं और अभी भी हो रहीं हैं, होती रहेंगी।
क्योंकि इस ग्रंथ में सब देशों, जातियों, पंथों के तमाम मनुष्यों के कल्याण की अलौकिक सामग्री भरी हुई है।
अतः हम सबको गीताज्ञान में अवगाहन करना चाहिए।
भोग, मोक्ष, निर्लेपता, निर्भयता आदि तमाम दिव्य गुणों का विकास करनेवाला यह गीताग्रंथ विश्व में अद्वितीय है।
गीता ऐसा अद्भुत ग्रंथ है कि
थके, हारे, गिरे हुए को उठाता है
बिछड़े को मिलाता है
भयभीत को निर्भय,
निर्भय को नि:शंक
नि:शंक को निर्द्वन्द्व
बनाकर
नारायण से मिला के
जीते जी मुक्ति का साक्षात्कार कराता है
