I Love My Country

One heavy rain on one weekend led to broken and sunken roads, people on the roads for several hours and numerous fatalities. The poem is sadly inspired by the experience that one wouldn't want repeated, yet it was a scenario reoccurring on yet another weekend with even more walls collapsing, trees fallen, roads disappearing and even more fatalities..
