Today’s parenting is way different from the parenting patterns of the older days. As years progress, motherhood is more educated and modernized but fatherhood has undergone immense transformation. This reformation of fatherhood beginning from the very acceptable paternity leave has led to friendlier and involved dads on the stage of life.

The earlier stricter dads were often times quite matter of fact dads. Whilst there’s no doubt about their parenting skills, they were simply different from the dads of today’s kids.

I have seen those hesitant embraces between the fathers and sons where they couldn’t openly declare their love for each other as it wasn’t a manly sign. As I watch my children’s friends not just hug but also take days off to give their time and fun moments to their sons and daughters it gives me those silent joyous moments.

No longer just the bread winners of the family they make the family feel like a family. Let’s us welcome the changing face of fatherhood in so many other ways as well.
