हिन्दी कविता को मिला हिन्दू परिषद का मंच एवं केन्या स्थित कवियों ने मचाई त्योहार की उमंग…….
Gratitude to be able to coordinate yet another poetic forum for the Hindu Council of Kenya {HCK} under the guidance of Sujatha Kotamraju to showcase the Six Indian seasons and festivals related to them along with poets from the 44th tribe.
A big thanks to Abhijeet Gupta Ji for adding his charm to the event as a moderator thus by not only playing his role as a program host but also managing the interludes and music efficiently along with coordinating with Mr. Mehta and introducing each artist in his own style.
The Hindi kavitas though perfectly rendered by various poets passed through meticulous editing by one and only Sarika Falor. All self composed work by our own “कवियों की टोली “ and special effects by seasoned singers Dr. Anjali Bajaj and Shravya Sailada and radio callers of radio HCK made the event a memorable one attended by nearly 300 people.
The presence of our greatest supporters and guides from the India in Kenya (High Commission of India, Nairobi) and invited dignitaries fills me with immense gratitude and appreciation.
The very talented self composer poets on stage were Sarika Falor, Sarita Sharma, Jyoti Singh, Dr. Mahendra Chauhan, Ruhi Singh, Shilpi Bisaria, NavNidhi Gupta, Renu Shivali, Brij Datta, Kalpana Pareek and myself Monica Gokaldas .
Sanjay Oberai and Shibani Sarkar were quite entertaining as On Air callers . Sanjay spoke about pyar ka mausam while Shibani spoke about the significance of Basant Panchmi Festival and prayers.
