The Second Partition
Jai Jhulelal!
Guru Baba ! That’s how we have grown as Sindhis identifying with Guru Nanak Dev Ji as our “Guru Baba” and have been going to “ mathho teke” at Guru Darbars/ Sindhi Guru Mandir/ Tikano . And one fine day we are told it’s not meant to be the way its been going on. Our Guru Mandirs around the world are being threatened to either give away the “Holy book, Shri Guru Granth Sahib” or do away with the murtis that we have been worshiping.
Let’s be awakened to the crude facts. Sharing some links to news clippings on various media that have been making waves of shock for many.
I wonder how the worship of idols is termed as being ritualistic but worship of a book is not. In my perspective it is equally ritualistic. It is sad that the world of differences is gaining strength and the way the religious intolerance is spreading.
The partitions between communities weaken the very thread of unity and give birth to religious intolerance amongst those who had lived amicably. Many had paid a heavy emotional, financial, physical and traumatic price caused by the partition of the country as a division between two religious factions emerged in its satanic drape and many are still suffering the results of the same. This second partition is becoming eminent and we must awaken ourselves to political motives behind this unrest and intolerance. Causing harm to the Sindhi Darbars or homesteads that have Guru Granth Sahib within the premises is indeed shameful. Such acts are only spreading a sense of determination among Hindu Sindhis and gradually leading them to stay away from the Holy scripture they have grown up reading and reciting.
What is your opinion about this as a Sindhi?

Hari om
This news has become viral amongst Sindhis and undoubtedly is distressing and has hurt the sentiments of many Sindhi devotees.
This act and threatening stand indicates a kind of religous supremacy or some kind of exclusive monopoly
Personally I feel the logic that they are using has a measurable fault line,
For the simple reason that if they can make a collection of valuable verses on paper their living Guru, then why can’t we as Hindus make a Murti into a symbol or living representation of God. One must know the difference between a Murti and an idol..
So then the question of coexistence of Guru and God.
Spiritually speaking we should be focussing and living on the content matter with due respect of the container.
Observing the Sindhi psyche we go into a Russ syndrome when hurt. This hurt converts into inner anger and then suppression..
Suppression leads to a feeling of separate ness..
With this coercive demand the Sindhi connections with Sikhs and Guru Nanak dev ji can take a conflicting dive..
We should request the people concerned not to affect our faith and learn to co exist with mutual conducive suggestions instead of giving birth to resentment and distance between Sikh and Hindu belief and protocols.
Jai Shri Krishna.
