It was the second day of September 2026 and I was at Nairobi Faraja Cancer Center along with my colleague Deepu. Once we were done giving Reiki Therapy to the patients we still had time at hand and I thought of utilizing that time effectively. I called Isabella the chief instructor and manager of the Hawkers Market Girls Center ( HMGC) and asked her if the girls would be interested in doing Ho’oponopono and healing for a traumatic circumstance and she agreed.
In about 12 minutes we reached the center where some girls were practicing massage on one of their colleagues and some were practicing hair styling on other colleagues. All this was part of their vocational training curriculum as designed by the management of HMGC. We waited for a few minutes till they wrapped up their training for a break.
I spoke to them about the traumatic calamity in the Nepal, Tibet, China region with the melting of the glacier and massive destructive flooding that had caused deaths, devastation, injuries, people missing and destruction to the extent of entire villages/ towns washed away within minutes. There’s immense grief and trauma caused by this tragedy and it needed healing.

Thankfully even though these women had no access to reading newspapers they were somewhat aware of the big news and readily agreed to do Ho’oponopono. I gave them a brief talk about how they can be citizens of the world by being responsible to heal others hurting hearts. They listened very attentively and I was blessed to have Deepu add her but in between to make it sound like a group effort.

Then came the practical part of doing Ho’oponopono and the ladies who had already attended my Reiki level 1, Reiki level 2 and Ho’oponopono workshop this year did reiki along with forgiveness and the rest added their prayers to the cause. They felt great and promised to continue doing this daily till the healing was needed.

After the assurance of their continuing with Ho’oponopono we left from the premises. This morning I received a lovely confirmation to them having practiced Ho’oponopono when I learnt about another organization having visited them and finding them doing the forgiveness. They in return taught it further to the representatives of this organization that visited them.

This made me feel so complete and grateful that good things must multiply and this was a step forward. Success in touching lives positively is a blessing and I do feel blessed. Please do view the excerpts of my visit via the YouTube link attached to see their enthusiasm as healers and good citizens. Please view the Facebook link as well to see how they influenced others causing a ripple effect of goodness.
