Reiki greetings to all!
Sharing a Reiki Seva experience here.

I was at Hindu Council of Kenya premises on the morning of July 4th 2026 to attend to an educational session. I saw a woman seated in the front row wincing in as she was running her right hand over the left arm and shoulder repeatedly.

I got up to ask her if she would like me to help her. She agreed so I called to a seat behind and started giving her touch healing. Then I saw our member Bhavna Baga’s daughter Ami and told her to join me if okay with her.

Ami gladly joined in and she started giving reiki to the back of neck and shoulder as I continued with the arm. We barely gave reiki for 5 minutes and the session started so we were all back on our seats but from where I was I continued sending her distance healing for another 5-7 minutes.

Then after the session ended I asked her how she felt and she said its hurting. Then I reminded her that she was holding her lunch plate quite well without discomfort and she realized that her pain had actually eased. She was very grateful and since she’s a cancer survivor I told her to start coming to Faraja for reiki on Wednesdays.
