The very popular spiritual figure BK Shivani (Sister Shivani Verma) visited Nairobi in June 2024. For those not familiar with the initials BK I would like to inform that the initial stands for Brahma Kumari which means Brahma’s daughter or the Lord’s daughter. Similarly for men the same initials mean Brahma Kumar of the son of Brahma (The Lord/God).

With her trip she achieved three targets at one go. Firstly she gave a few public talks (1600 to 2000 people) and few talks for private gatherings (500 people) that were only by invite in community based and religion based Halls. Besides that she also got to address the staff of some private/public organizations that was previously scheduled few years ago.

Secondly she participated in the 73rd “Future of Power” Conference across a weekend. This event was primarily conceived by Nizar Juma few years ago and scheduled to occur in June 2020 but got pushed further due to the global pandemic of Covid.

Thirdly having reached the African continent she made a short trip of a day each to a few other African countries where she gave public talks as well.
