Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta (2)
The beginning of Geeta itself is with the word ‘Dharma’ meaning religion or right deed.
The ending of the Geeta is with the word ‘mama’ meaning mine.
That means ‘My religion’.
Geeta teaches us what our religion is for without religion one is like an animal.
Religion is Parmatma and Soul is Mama meaning mine.
The dialogues in Geeta are in essence between the soul and Bhagwan.
Religion itself destroys and kills but for righteousness. When we protect religion, then it protects us.
First verse of the first chapter is the first step. The word Kshetra is used twice – in ‘Kurukshetra’ and in ‘dharmashetra’. Do your duty in every field.
