On 7th September 2023 we had a Reiki level 1 camp at Faraja for Cancer patients and care givers. We had 13 people attending the workshop and it was conducted by myself, Monica assisted by Pratima.

We started off at 10.30am as very few people had reached by the scheduled 10am time and finished at 3pm with a short lunch break of 30 minutes.

This group was a very switched on group and had a lot of questions about reiki. Thankfully I think I managed to answer them satisfactorily.

One of the students was a patient by the name Maria Sequeira who has been receiving reiki healing from LHSG for nearly 18-20 months now .

They all managed the self healing, felt great, then did the partner healing and some of them felt vibrant after doing partner healing as if they had experienced the joy of giving rather than receiving.

Pratima was very helpful and partly conducted the teaching alongside. Some patients have received healing from her previously and acknowledged her healing energies and that felt so good.

Faraja Cancer Support Centre Reiki 1 Training

After a gap of 2 years, during which we could not hold workshops due to covid restrictions, LHSG Kenya conducted a Reiki Level 1 training on 7^th September 2023 at Faraja Cancer Support Centre in Nairobi. The trainees, 13 in number, were a mix of cancer patients, cancer survivors, care givers, volunteers and Faraja staff.

LHSG Founder Member Monica Gokaldas conducted the training. She was helped by LHSG Kenya member Pratima Dutt.

I Am ! Todays Camp at Faraja
The camp was really very nice after a long time had assisted the camp with Monicaji.
When we did the prayers we felt lots of energy.
The participants were listening with lots of interest and learnt well they had many questions which were answered. Some of there hands were warm and some were cold.They learnt the positions of the hands on chakras very nicely during attunment they were calm. Even self healing they did so nicely. I am very grateful for the camp. 🙏🙏
