The popular weekly Paperzine published in Kenya catering and covering the news and views, events and happenings of the Asian Community turns 14 years this week. Sikiladi who has been publishing self composed poetry, event coverage and writing opinion articles over the years on a voluntary basis shares a poem marking the 14th birthday of The Asian Weekly. Over the years Sikiladi has witnessed several changes in editorials, columns, publishing, professionalism, movement of premises @TAW and expresses some of that via her poetry.

She is very expressive and open hearted person, a poet, a singer and a free spirit who released a steady flow of emotions when she learnt Reiki and got the opportunity to receive as well as give the reiki healing. Reiki Training at Faraja : (A healer’s diary)
The students had some lovely experiences with the energy attunement, with self healing post the attunement as well as during healing others in the later half of the class. The HMGC group was a shy lot as these are girls from traumatized backgrounds and each year we see them come as hesitant, nervous girls that leave as confident, bold, vocationally trained girls when they graduate after 12 months.
