यह इमारतों की है बस्ती!
यह इमारतों की है बस्ती , दूर तलक ईंट पत्थर की हस्ती ! आकाश को ज्यूँ चूमने लगतीं , लम्बी इमारतों की आवारागर्दी! चाहे दिन हो गर्म या हो मौसम में सर्दी , इन लम्बी रहगुज़र में आबादी पलती! ढलती धूप को शांत सा साया, जाने कितनों के मन को भाया ! आँच दिखाकर हल्की व ठंडी, धूमिल किरनों की सरपरस्ती ! चमक बिखेर मकानों के गिर्द , जैसे स्वयं को उन पर ओढ़ती! इस बस्ती की बात ही निराली , ज्यूँ जादूगर की माया नगरी ! कारों बसों के कोलाहल संग, एक अजब सी ऊर्जा उपजी! हैडलाइटों की सारी झिलमिलाहट , बिल्डिंगों की खिड़कियों पर बरसती !
मॉं की सूरत
उसने कहा देख कर तुम्हें याद आती है तुम्हारी माँ की और मैं फूली न समाई ह्रदय कुछ गद गद सा हुआ मामीजी भी बोली मुझे देख तुम तो साक्षात अपनी मॉं दिखती हो मन ही मन प्रसन्नता जागी और मैं इतराई खुद पर आईना जो देखती हूँ जाकर झलक उसकी ही सामने आती है वह मॉं जो छोड़ चली जहाँ को अपनी ही सूरत में ख़ूबसूरती बन पनपती है उसकी सूरत बनी मेरा अभिमान व अनजाना अनकहा स्वाभिमान उसकी सूरत से ही मिलती मुझे पहचान वर्ना शायद मेरी हस्ती रह जाती बेनाम सिकीलधी
