Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji merged into Nirankar on 13th May 2016. Since then darkness had shrouded the lives of all devotees of the mission.
Pujya Mata Sawinder Ji, the gracious wife of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, is now the Spiritual Head of the Sant Nirankari Mission. This was announced on May 17th, 2016 by Rev H.S. Upashak Ji. The President of the Sant Nirankari Mandal Rev JRD ‘Satyarthi’ Ji presented the White Scarf (Dupatta), a symbol of the Satguru.
Pujya Mata Ji was revered as Satguru by the thousands of devotees present.
A flashback of the memory from 2016 and the emotions felt at that time came as a reminder on the Facebook page hence sharing them here in memory of the first female Guru of the spiritual organization. A transformation made on several tongues that were used to chanting out “Babaji” now appear accustomed to chanting “Satguru Mataji“. The great female guru handled the fort of divinity within her and without her, having plumaged her health challenges before honorably passing over the leadership to the next guru.
The trait is rare in many power positions that one passes over the Chair to someone himself/herself vacating it gracefully. Passing of power in the hands of able ones can be done only by the most strong personalities : inwardly strong, fearless, undaunted and selfless personalities.

My admiration knows no bounds as The First Woman Satguru emerges out of a meek widow.
And Bountiful reverence
Puja Mataji be the Light

Comfort she will all our hearts
As she guides us through
With wisdom, humanity and
The dream of Oneness
As we bid adieu to one body

Our Satguru we are with you
We are with you even without you
Satguru resides in us in all forms
Of the formless
You are Mataji and you are Babaji
You are now the face of the front
In true means you are the ONE.
