The Hindu Council of Kenya in its efforts to promote and conserve Hindu culture and traditions organized a literary fest by Hindi poets on the occasion of Vasant Panchami, A Hindu festival coordinated under the able guidance of Monica Gokaldas on the 3rd of February at the Hindu Bhavan. Hindi poetry is gradually gaining prominence in Kenya with presence of fresh original poets.
