You are not a Man!

Why, O why did you do it?

I considered you my own

So what, If you weren’t born of me

I still took you as my child

I looked upon you as a strong Man

Why, O why did you do it?

Your indifference proved me wrong

Your attitude proves you are wrong

You chose to simply part ways

Opting for the easier path

I considered you compassionate and caring

But, obviously you are not

Why, O why did you do it?

You care only for yourself

Leaving others in dilemma halfway

And you claim it affects them not?

How did you become this person?

Was all the sweetness just a myth?

Or, just a drama to win over hearts…

and then break them at your whim

For you are not man enough!

A man stands up for his own,

cares for those under his fold

Yet, you chose to throw them out

Far away from your destiny’s chart

But, remember my child

The day shall come,

When the mornings might not be bright

and your life may not have delight

Then, you shall repent your deeds

Your selfish moves, uncaring thoughts

They shall put you low one day

For, hurting hearts bears results

Whether you like it or not

Whether you believe it or not

The law of karma is very strong

And serves justice to one and all

You love to live life on your terms

Yet, expect others to forgo their terms

Just because you think you are superior?

This very thought makes you inferior

For respecting someone for what they are…

Is the primary lesson that you missed out

The fault may not be entirely yours

For you are ears to selfish mouths

That dwell upon you day and night

You learnt not your culture and tradition

Under the guise of modernity gun

Your talk of being a family man

and then proving yourself wrong

By discarding the family life

For God knows whoever in your sight

Why, O why did you do it?

You failed! you failed me my child!

Your victory would have been mine

But, now your failure has become mine

For I took you as my child

Breaking all vows and promises…

You shunned your basic responsibilities

And still dare to call yourself a Man?

Why, O why did you do it?

Losing your charisma and respect

You fell low in my loving eyes

That had all affection for you

And fondly called you my own

You made me drop you down in disgrace

You tore life etiquette’s fine lace

You shall never be any family’s pride

The man who couldn’t love his bride

Keeping conditions, causing trauma….

Silent treatments and suffocating dilemmas….

You gifted all the nastiest gifts of abuse

Whence all one wanted was your love and care

Shunning all world yet, under your care

The care that hath no spare and caused a scare

I wish you to read this and repent

No, you shall now never belong

But, repent if you can for your own peace

For, life can be an ugly scene

That you haven’t envisioned even in a dream

You’ve hurt hearts a plenty my child

And for that, you shall pay back some day

The pain that travels from one to another

and returns to its original giver

In a way cruel and harsher than before

turns tables for the mightiest of mighty

And you my child are not even that

Mighty is a big word, you are not even a Man

You are not a Man, you fell from grace

You are not a Man, you brought disgrace

You are not a Man, You stooped low

You are not a Man, you blocked other’s progress

You shall not rise the way you think you would

For you have the wrath of several hearts

That wish you no ill will or bad luck

But your own doings shall make it happen

You are not a Man! You are not a Man!

You are a mere coward that calls himself a Man

But, I know and many others know

You are not a Man! You are not a Man!
