As per Hindu spiritual tradition a period of fifteen days is set aside for dedication towards ancestors where each family revisits the memories of family ancestors and performs various ritualistic activities.

Sikiladi who has been publishing self composed poetry, event coverage and writing opinion articles over the years on a voluntary basis shares a poem marking the 14th birthday of The Asian Weekly. Over the years Sikiladi has witnessed several changes in editorials, columns, publishing, professionalism, movement of premises @TAW and expresses some of that via her poetry.

The very popular spiritual figure BK Shivani (Sister Shivani Verma) visited Nairobi in June 2024. For those not familiar with the initials BK I would like to inform that the initial stands for Brahma Kumari which means Brahma's daughter or the Lord's daughter.
