Tree Planting at Luminary School ; (A healer’s dairy)
Tree Planting in the slum environs was a spiritual experience for me. It is very gratifying to do such a Seva during the auspicious period of the Navratri Festival. I felt that there is no need to follow the old practice of feeding girls on Durga Ashtmi as I dedicated today’s Seva to the Divine Mother by serving and honoring Mother Earth. Reiki Training at Kangemi slums : (A healer’s dairy)
t is always an eye opener and a humbling experience going to such places as that keeps us grounded to our responsibilities towards the very society we live in. Looking at those keen faces, it felt as these are the very people who build our country. By inculcating the Reiki habits, educating them about the five basic principles of Reiki, this bunch of people will turn out motivators for so many others around them as once a person practices such arts, they reflect from the core of the person towards the environment. Visiting the Old Age Home : (A healer’s dairy)
It was a very humbling experience and they were all very happy at receiving the Reiki energy. Shantiben, whom I gave healing seemed to be in lot of pain in her left arm and couldn’t even lift it.
