The students had some lovely experiences with the energy attunement, with self healing post the attunement as well as during healing others in the later half of the class. The HMGC group was a shy lot as these are girls from traumatized backgrounds and each year we see them come as hesitant, nervous girls that leave as confident, bold, vocationally trained girls when they graduate after 12 months.

The participation from the new learners was very encouraging and they all had very valid questions to ask as well. To some extent, most of them had been wondering what one could learn in a forgiveness workshop because in lot of faiths Forgiveness is a practice commonly observed. Some of them revealed that they had been speaking the sentences of forgiveness as a mundane practice without actually feeling it or even understanding its essence and effects on our daily lives....... Reiki to the Elderly (A Healer’s Dairy)

We got opportunity to give Reiki to the 95 year old Sister Louise who was on the wheelchair. While giving her healing on one of her knees, I silently asked for forgiveness from her and that was a moment of realization for me. At that moment I was guided to ask forgiveness from all those, who have knee and leg problems, those who walk with a limp, those who are imbalanced and in my childhood in my innocence I might have made fun of them. ...... t is always an eye opener and a humbling experience going to such places as that keeps us grounded to our responsibilities towards the very society we live in. Looking at those keen faces, it felt as these are the very people who build our country. By inculcating the Reiki habits, educating them about the five basic principles of Reiki, this bunch of people will turn out motivators for so many others around them as once a person practices such arts, they reflect from the core of the person towards the environment.
