The popular weekly Paperzine published in Kenya catering and covering the news and views, events and happenings of the Asian Community turns 14 years this week. Sikiladi who has been publishing self composed poetry, event coverage and writing opinion articles over the years on a voluntary basis shares a poem marking the 14th birthday of The Asian Weekly. Over the years Sikiladi has witnessed several changes in editorials, columns, publishing, professionalism, movement of premises @TAW and expresses some of that via her poetry.
Saga of Spirituality!
The Shakahola cult killings inspired by Paul Mackenzie swallowed in several adults, young and very young deep into the ground, starved to hunger in the hope of meeting God. The poem is inspired by the massacre that has made news throughout Kenya for several months now.
