Elements of Emotional Fitness

Reactiveness :

  1. Give specific instructions to the mind to be calm, silent, accepting and control over self.
  2. Not waiting for others to change thus not being dependent on situations and people’s behavior.
  3. Realizing the impact of emotions on the health of the body.

Achieving Emotional Fitness :

This is done by measuring one’s own capacity ( criteria being 1-10 where 1 is lowest and 10 is highest)

  1. How much is my mind dependent on other situations.
  2. My levels of reaction – in extent (the more the reaction the weaker the person)
  3. My levels of reaction – in duration (the more I stay with the reaction the weaker I become)
  4. The ability to “Let go” ( my ability to pack up and go away from a situation)
  5. The ability to forgive people (no reference to the past – forgive to heal the wound)
  6. Level of looking at others/ comparison/peer pressure/ doing what others do without putting a thought.
  7. The level of influence of others in the way I conduct myself or my dressing sense.

Dependency:

Who creates my hurt? Who hurt me?

I myself create my hurt. Pain comes from how I think about what they do.

I must spend time to think how I must think and react in a given situation.

It will take time to amend myself hence I mustn’t blame someone or something for what I am feeling.

My happiness is not dependent on any objects.

High Vocational Vocabulary:

I created my own worry hence I will change myself through my vocabulary. This vocabulary transformation will transform my life.

I will take perfect care of my mind and everyone around me.

I will take care of me and everyone around me.

I am not a victim, I am a master of my mind.

I am always happy.

I release the past.

I accept people.

I am always peaceful.

I am a giver.

Success is certain for me.
