His attitude is shifting the gears

His once strict and stern posture

Has given way to a redefined stature

He hugs his elk ever so heartily

His serious image altered readily

He was caring then and even now

He was a provider then and even now

His focus shifted albeit with the times

His leisure time appears not to be a crime

He plays with his young ones as he cares

He cherishes their childhood chatter happily

He nurtures them to adulthood merrily

His guidance in professional decisions handy

His doting love sweeter than sweetest candy

His impressive precious poised personality

Inspires his young ones to mature mentality

His ever so chivalrous macho individuality

Teaches them to adapt to a learned originality

His concern, comfort and vacation provisions

Cocoons them from outer harsh subjugations

He becomes the best friend for his children

Them being the flowers of his own garden

The Father that becomes childlike for some

Deserves all the attention for functionality

His love and care can be paid not ever

As he ages he might not appear as clever

Forget not his sacrifices for kids’ education

With his Youngers he needs communication

Keep alive with him all sort of conversation

He is the one who gives his clan the foundation
