Santa Claus comes to town

In his bright red and white gown

With a hat and a large gift filled sac

That’s the tradition with a tale

Nicholas the saint a caring monk

He lived to help so say the legends

Giving away his wealth to the poor

His kindness shone by his actions

Saving the sisters from prostitution

Protecting them being sold to slavery

Thus in reflection we emulate him

Sinter Klaus the protector of children

He helped many a sailor to safety

Saint Nicholas or St. Nick gained popularity

Till date his image is rekindled for children

In memory of his kind heartedness

He stands in largesse as Santa Claus

At Malls, at stores and at galleries

Forget not the kindness that lived in him

Let’s focus not just on gifts aspect of him

Honor the great Monk with all respect

To celebrate this genuine person perfect
