Bhagwad Geeta
A man with steady intellect does not suffer in misery and does not rejoice in joys. He doesn’t cry in pain and doesn’t get excited in happiness. He forgoes all his passion, anger, hatred and likings.
There are seven steps to the ladder of a man’s fall.
First step is thinking about objects.
Secondly while thinking repeatedly about objects and acquiring those objects.
After having acquired objects, when one is unable to get the objects again and again, comes the anger.
When anger strikes, one cannot think straight and distinguish between right and wrong, between good and bad.
This implies the intellect is destroyed.
When intellect is destroyed, then everything is destroyed.
Instead of thinking about objects if one thinks about Parmatma then he doesn’t fall. It is important to control the senses.
