Last seva
It wasn’t my turn for any seva yet I decided to go and check out upon my colleagues at Faraja Cancer Support Kenya on Wednesday 2nd August. It was Laveena’s first reiki session there after the three year break. For Deepu it was her first time being at Faraja as a therapist but in the past she had been there as a patient and I remember having given her healing over there.
After guiding them to the basics I proceeded to Lohana Mahajan Mandal – a community premises where we give weekly reiki healing sessions for the senior citizens under the Lohana community’s Vraj Ganga program.
Kamal and Pratima were there as per schedule and I decided to join them in doing the seva. We were happy to see Nimuben come for reiki therapy. Nimuben had a femur surgery and was recovering quite well. Her feet were badly swollen but she was cheerful. She gave loving pats on pratima and my faces and blessed us a lot for having been sending her healing. Pratima had even visited her at home a few times to give reiki healing.
As I bent down on my knees she expressed her concern at sitting on the floor but I continued as that’s how I could manage giving reiki on her feet. I felt really good giving her reiki as I could feel an outpour of her loving energy. Little did I know that it was my last seva towards her as she passed away in less than a week from the day.
But, her soul decided to give me another chance of seva. On 16th August as I was concluding teaching reiki to eight Lohana ladies Nimuben’s daughter Kirti came towards me and asked if I could give her reiki healing. She was hurting, grieving over her mother’s death and was very emotional. I agreed to give her the grief trauma healing and she felt much better.

I felt a sense of gratitude and humbled to be of help to both mother and daughter. Thank you Universe for making me a sevak of your manifestations and giving me an opportunity to balance out my karmic account.
