A privileged honor to be identified as a “Global Icon” by the Government of Rajasthan in 2025. The book titled Virasat se Vikas Tak published by Maneesh Media in Jaipur has included profiles of 75 NRI Global Icons and yours truly happens to be one of those 75. The only Sindhi Woman to be identified and published by the Rajasthan Government so far. My utter gratitude to the officials of Rajasthan Government and Maneesh Media for personally coming to interview me with their founder Late Chand Kumawat ji a couple of years ago.
This second edition of Virasat Se Vikas Tak – carries a timeless tradition of storytelling, spotlighting remarkable Rajasthani lives that bridge heritage and progress. It also features people who continue to build and grow within the state as the guardians of their roots and catalysts of their vibrant culture. Together, the stories of these people paint Rajasthan’s vibrant, forward-looking, and powerful portrait.
