The Saga of Spirituality
The tall trees and whistling woods
Gave shelter to crimes in cahoots
Rites and rituals failed the mercy
Fasting feats led to lose life Jersey
Meeting the Lord pasted on their minds
The pastor preyed upon victims in kindssikiladi
The stench of starved lives halved
The plans that Godliness hadn’t carved
Dumbed, dumped and buried deep
The bodies from souls culled as sheep
Forgoing the loved ones of their own
The parents and siblings together grownsikiladi
They vanished from the cities and towns
Abandoning all their affluence crowns
Deep into the browns and greens of growth
The roughness that the soils had bestowed
They fell prey to the unearthly earth
Meeting the Maker that gave ‘em all a birthsikiladi
Denouncing all food for a seemingly good
Discarding all drink causing them a shrink
If only their wise minds would do a rethink
They were being victimized to the brink
Alas! The merciful woods gifted them death
Losing family, fortunes, futures & all wealthsikiladi
Buried deep within the womb of Mother Earth
As she swallowed them with her hugging girth
The criminal minds had churned respect
For heinous acts of the Shakahola sect
Leaving behind a trail of calls of distress
Sounds that were silenced by a suppresssikiladi
The ghosts of the divine ugliness linger on
The monstrous ministry of mercy lives on
Faith and fear interwoven simply fought on
Culminations untimely had been caught on
The saga of spirituality gave ‘em no sparesikiladi
The unseen crucifix provided ‘em no care
Their vulnerability vandalized seemed fair
They knew not the game wasn’t a Godly gear
Sikiladi
