Ishwar (I.P. 4)

Continuing further to know more about Ishwar, here’s another piece of information shared as a memory by his youngest brother in law Shyam.

It is a great pleasure and honor remembering Ishwar Jijaji and sharing memories of the time spent with him. Though I am not a professional writer yet shall try to share whatever I remember about him.
He was a friend philosopher and guide to me throughout the time spent with him. I believe whosoever came in his contact will have similar experience and feelings about him.

Though I do remember we met during his marriage with my sister, I was very young and part of big joint family, yet I received lot of personal attention from him. As I can remember I came to Delhi around 1968 when I was about 18 years to study . I used to live in a hostel in Nizamuddin but during weekends and holidays used to come to their house to spend quality time with him and everybody.

After completion of my education he was instrumental in shaping my carrier. During my marriage preparations he was fully involved, to the extent he drove me personally in his car. While we were living in Sainik farms, we were privileged by his frequent visits. When his family shifted to Dubai he used to come to Delhi on and off.

During dear Ashish’s marriage in 2000, which held with lot of celebrations, everybody missed his absence. Many years have passed and much has happened in everybody’s life, but he will always be remembered and missed as he was a source of inspiration to many.

Thanks for giving me this opportunity for sharing the everlasting memories.
Always wishing good health and all the best.
Shyam Nawani
