Hurry up! Hurry up! Don’t miss the bus

The bus that commutes to a cleaner land

Where pollution and dirt find no strand

The strands of plastics that filled the dumps

The dumps that cause choking hazards

Hazards of sorts to creatures of marine

Serenity we must protect to be plastic free

A plastic free journey we travel with glee

The glee where all beings can breathe free

Breathe free dream is an urge and a plea

The plea of #BeatPlasticPollution Vehicle

The Vehicle that encourages conservation

Conservation reminds of older generation

Older generation that used and re-used

The fountain pens holding liquid ink to write

Write not using single use pens looking bright

Bright shall be the future of the atmosphere

The atmosphere must escape being ‘Plastisphere’

Plastisphere from tonnes of waste everywhere

The waste we brought in by disposable affairsikiladi

The bags that package every item little and big

Big is the convenience costing health hazards

Hazards of greenhouse gas in everyday living

A living compromised by PET, LDPE, PP & likes

The likes we convert with systematic change

Change by moving away plastic straws & stirrers

Stir the thoughts to fresher greener environment

Protecting environment by plastic free aqua around

Aquatic ecosystem liberated from the emissions

Emissions casing distress, death and ailments

Ailments of health coupled with greed and spare

Dispose off old habits and form new ways

Ways of concern and caring life displays

The bus shall lead us to no further delays

Joy that each creatures lungs shall express

The express reforms being our way of life

Reuse, recycle, reorient and diversify actions

Actions of reducing the unnecessary usage

Usage shifting to need based rather than wants

Wants that keep increasing production demands

Demanding on the health of people and places

A legacy abundant we must leave behind
